I got the chance to design the cover for Kymono’s first album, Kymono Sound. Since I first got into graphic design during my high school years through exploring Photoshop and creating conceptual cover artworks for some of my favorite artists, this opportunity felt incredibly meaningful to me. Seeing my design printed on a physical vinyl became a really important milestone in my creative journey.
There were many different versions I came up with for this work. The label sent me many different inspirations so I tried to blend them all together. In the end, the label decided to go with this one as they wanted a modern look to it.
